Where once they were seen as an ‘old man’s watch’, classic Cartier pieces are now in huge demand from new and old collectors alike. A classic piece from the line up, this yellow gold Jumbo Tank Américaine is a great size and wears beautifully on the wrist.
The eggshell dial is in superb condition and has black Roman numeral hour markers, with the hidden signature in the VII numeral and a date function, the delicate blued steel hands give the watch a classic look and the winding crown features the signature sapphire blue cabochon.
The watch will come on the pictured leather strap which has the original 18ct gold Cartier buckle installed.
This Jumbo Tank has the desirable automatic movement (not the often seen quartz !) that has been fully checked by our watchmaker.
